Founded in 1990 in Seabeck, Washington, Lester “Butch” Hunter began his journey in construction with a simple mission: to build quality homes with honesty, craftsmanship, and care. In 2008, his son, Travis Hunter, joined the business as a partner, and together they established LWH & Son Construction, LLC—a family-owned company rooted in tradition and driven by innovation.
Over the years, both the family and the business have grown. Today, LWH & Son Construction is backed by a dedicated team of highly skilled professionals who bring decades of experience, deep industry knowledge, and a passion for building exceptional custom homes. In recognition of their outstanding work, the company was honored as the 2019 Kitsap Building Association Builder of the Year.
